ഇതു Grey Crowned Crane (Balearica regulorum) ആഫ്രിക്കന്‍ സവാനയില്‍ മാത്രം കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ഇനം കൊക്കു്.

യുഗാണ്ടയിലെ ദേശീയ പക്ഷിയാണു ഇവ. ഈ പക്ഷികള്‍ യൂ. ഏ. ഈ. യില്‍ വരാന്‍ സാദ്ധ്യത ഇല്ല. ഈ പക്ഷികള്‍ ദേശാടനം ചെയ്യാറില്ല. ഇവര്‍ ഏതെങ്കിലു സ്വാകര്യ ശേഖരത്തില്‍ നിന്നും പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയതാകാനെ സദ്ധ്യതയുള്ളു.

Ras al Khor Flamingo Hideഇല്‍ 3:30pm നു് Flamingo കള്‍ക്കു ഭക്ഷണം കൊടുക്കുന്ന സമയം ഇവര്‍ ഇരുവരും പടിഞ്ഞാറെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്നും പറന്ന് എത്തും. ഭക്ഷണം കഴിചുകഴിഞ്ഞ് വന്നതുപോലെ തിരിക പറന്നു പോകും.

എന്തായാലും ഒരു് ആപൂര്‍വ്വ ദൃശ്ശ്യം തന്നെയായിരുന്നു.
