Aruninte Blog - Cupid's algorithms

Wish no more: Google Romance, a beta product currently incubating in Google Labs, uses cutting-edge personal search algorithms to help you find your soulmate, then sponsors your first Contextual Date with said soulmate-to-be in exchange for showing you highly relevant advertising that just might help Cupid's arrow find its mark. Does it really work?

Feb 14 – Watch out for Cupid, it’s Valentine’s Day.
Feb 16 – Show your devotion to Lord Shiva through a night of prayers on Maha Shivaratri.

Valentine's Day is on February 14. It is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other

Maha Shivratri/Shivaratri (Night of Shiva) is a Hindu festival celebrated every year on the 14th day in the Krishna Paksha of the month Phalguna in the Hindu Calendar.

The most significant practices on this day are offerings of Bheel leaves to the Lord Shiva, fasting and all night long vigil. It is hoped that by doing this young girls will get married soon and will get husbands like Shiva.

Cupids everywhere!
