പൂവരശ് പൂക്കുന്ന നാളുകളിലൊന്നില്
വസന്തം കാറ്റിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
“നോക്കൂ, എന്റെ നെഞ്ചിലൊരു മുറിവ്”
“ഏയ്, അത് നിന്റെ പൂക്കളല്ലേ?”
വസന്തം പിന്നെയൊന്നും മ്ണ്ടിയില്ല
എങ്കിലും കാറ്റിനറിയാമായിരുന്നു-
വസന്തത്തിന്റെ നെഞ്ച്പൊട്ടി പുറത്ത് വന്ന
ഹൃദയമായിരുന്നു ആ പൂക്കളെന്ന്.
വസന്തം കാറ്റിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
